Today's trip to town brought me to Primark before going to see Cinderella in the cinema (which was amazing!). Whilst there I bought a new, cute, pastel coloured handbag. Only the other day when I was carrying a huge bag full with one item was I wishing for a smaller bag to carry things around in, and today I found one which I love!

I chose the pastel coloured version as I thought it was very spring/summery and it is pale pink and cream. It was surprisingly only £8 which I thought was a really good price considering you can buy almost the exact same one for £30+ in other shops.


It is a really handy thing to have if you are going out and only need to take your purse or a little bit of makeup with you. I was also really pleased when I discovered it goes with this top quite well. I think I'll be looking around Primark next time I want to invest in a new bag.

I love photography so I edit photos quite a lot. I normally use Lightroom on my laptop but sometimes I just want to do something quick with them so they can be uploaded to Instagram or other places. I use quite a lot of apps but do have five favourites.

1. Magic Hour - This application is full of premade filters that you can apply to your pictures with the click of a button. Not only can you do this, but you can also create your own filters or do things like increase/decrease the contrast etc. This is a great, quick photo editing app and you can either buy the free version (you can only download a limited number of filters) or the full version.

2. Squaready - In my opinion, this app is a must-have for any Instagram user. It allows you to put white borders around your pictures so you can put the whole of them on Instagram, not just a square shaped section. This is free in the app store.

3. Picsart - Using this app you can do loads to your photos! You can even put them into collages or draw on them. In the editing section you can crop, clone, colour and fiddle around with the curves. It has all the basics for simple photo editing. This is also free in the app store.

4. Phonto- Phonto allows you to add writing to your pictures. There are many different fonts on there and you can also download other ones to use. It is free in the app store.

5. Superimpose - I think this app is the most similar to Photoshop. You use it to mask two pictures together and can change the colours on it, the brightness etc. I think it is either 69p or 99p in the app store (I can't remember).

So, those are my five favourite Apple photo editing apps. I use loads of other ones, but these ones the most!

How was your April Fools day? I can't believe April is already here. New Years Eve doesn't seem like it was that long ago and now we're already over a quarter of the way through this year. The weather hasn't been that spring-y recently with the cold wind and cloudy skies, however the sun is beginning to come out today.


During March I found quite a few things that I really liked. Firstly, the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I love using this product. It has improved my skin a lot over the past few weeks and has helped it to become clear. It reduces redness immediately and gets rid of spots almost overnight. I think I will have to do a review of this in a future blog post.

Makeup wise, I have enjoyed using the Bare Minerals eyecolour. I have the Sheen Eyecolour in the colour Bahamas and the Shimmer Eyecolour in the colour Queen Phyllis (I love that name). I normally blend the two together using Queen Phyllis first over my eye lid and underneath my eyebrow and then Bahamas after that, over my eye lid. They give my eyes a nice colour and look especially good with a thin line of eyeliner. They were £15 and I bought mine in Boots.
 
I have had my Babyliss curlers for a few months now but decided I really needed to mention them in this post. I use them on a daily basis to make my naturally curly hair look more even. They tend to add volume to my hair  and you can either do loose, wavy curls or tight ringlets. They have a variety of heat settings so they suit any hair whether it is thin or thick.






























Finally, my grandmother gave me this very cute, Paris style, organiser. In here I have been writing lots of ideas for blog posts, lists of things I need to do and little notes. It has been a very handy thing to carry around and is the perfect size to fit in your bag.
